Pointless Poem  I wrote in 2016

I have discovered many sure things

aside from death and taxes, that inevitably brings.

I found one dedicated principle, amazing as it seems.

That applies to buying anything from shoes and socks to jeans

Just say, perchance you buy yourself a discount Rolling Royce

for 10 cents on the dollar. It could be any car, your choice

Inevitable and true, you soon will hear a voice

“You silly bugger, I gave away one similar, only half the price.”

usually, I ask with practised ease. “Did your car need some repair?”

And if they answer yes or no, I do not really care.

“My new car has a small dent, and I needed one right there.”

I really will not tolerate bald men selling me their hair.
